Maine Made

Good Wood Tables are Hand Made, by me the Owner.   I find and select the lumber for the tabletops, taking into consideration, species, color and wear characteristics of the reclaimed lumber.  I touch ever piece of wood we use from de-nailing, to the many hours of hand sanding.  Once I mill the lumber to size for the legs and frame, I use tradition Mortis & Tenon joints in the construction.  We only use solid wood, no ply or veneers.  The only metal you will find in our tables is the special clips to hold the top to the frame, which allow for the natural expansion & contraction of the wood.  Bolts, screws & nails all have their place, just not in fine furniture.
